Understanding child sexual abuse online
Lunchtime talks from established experts in partnership with the Association of Child Protection Professionals (AoCPP)
13 Nov 2023
£35 session / £150 week
We have partnered with the Association of Child Protection Professionals (AoCPP) for our second engaging and affordable online learning week.
A recent US survey on child sexual abuse found that around 16% of respondents were abused through technology – this is likely underreported, and the true proportion may be far higher. With one in ten children in England and Wales experiencing some form of sexual abuse before the age of 16, understanding the role of technology and online contexts in sexual abuse is incredibly important.
The Understanding child sexual abuse online learning week supports professional response with a series of five accessible lunchtime sessions from established professionals, academics, and researchers.
How to book
Tickets are £150 for the full week (£120 for AoCPP members) or £35 per individual session. Discounts are available for AoCPP members and students.
