Steering group
Our Steering Group is made up of representatives from various governmental departments that help to ensure that our research, evidence and learning is fed into national policy development. They also work to ensure that our workplan and focusses tie in with the latest understanding of threats or opportunities and cross-Government priorities.
Representatives include:
- Home Office
- Department for Education
- Department of Health and Social Care
- Ministry of Justice
- National Policing Lead on child protection and abuse investigations
- Crown Prosecution Service
- National Crime Agency
The Steering Group usually meets on a quarterly basis and is chaired by the Director of Tackling Slavery and Exploitation at the Home Office.
